This is a great opportunity to work in one of the largest and most successful UK law firms. The role is suited for someone who has strong compliance experience in the legal sector. Below is a brief overview of the requirements for the role:
Review and implement processes and procedures to ensure and enable the firm to comply with statutory, professional and regulatory requirements
Assist in providing fee earners with a full range of compliance and professional support - providing advice and keep everyone aware of the current processes and any newly implemented ones.
Liaising with relevant regulatory authorities to resolve issues
Provide training at all levels on compliance and professional conduct matters
The primary basis for the role is in the Birmingham office, although this role will require time to be split between the Birmingham and London office. Travel expenses will be paid.
The salary for this role is candidate dependant, the salary quoted is a guideline.
Compliance experience in the legal sector (a top 20 law firm would be very desirable)
Management/ supervision/ team leading experience
A thorough legal knowledge with ability to understand complex issues
